With all of that being said i have had my miner working with Bitdefender for that last 2 days and havent had to much problem with it. now it should be mostly working, keep Bitdefender open in the notification tab and keep watch for files going away and restore them when they do this will add them to the whitelist, also continue watching the quarantine file and restore them, i had to do this for a day or so (was figuring this out late at night and need to take a break from it) if you see in the command window that you are not getting a connection check out your firewall tab and all the program to connect.
so i completely uninstalled Bitdefender, made a whitelist within Microsoft security, reinstall Nicehash, update all plugins and run benchmarks(start running the miner and leave it running), then reinstall Bitdefender, add your file location to the whitelist and Advance Threat Detection. However, I’m assuming this shouldn’t affect the outcome.
Good day, i have been having the same problem for the last week or so, 2 days ago i found a fix from 2-3 years ago. Firewall logs on the PC (Bitdefender Total Security 2015) show no intervention to block traffic.Because I’m testing the VPN connection when still at home, I’m tethering my laptop to an Android phone to separate the laptop from the home network (wi-fi turned off on both devices).
